when are the battery to achieve the "real" empty ?

the notebook will forced into sleep mode while it reaches "empty" . but actually . the notebook battery still keep a reserve above the "empty" to maintain the notebook in sleep . as soon as the battery is real exhausted . the notebook will force to shut down . in that time . any open files may be lost .
