How do I know what video card and driver I have on my computer?

Here is how you can check what kind of video card and its drivers are currently installed on your computer.

1) Go to your "START"menu and select "RUN". Vista uses can skip this step, and type Step 2 into the Start Search section
at the bottom of the Start menu.

2) Type in the phrase "DXDIAG"and click "OK".

3) If you are prompted with a message
asking if you want to "DIGITALLY
SIGN DRIVERS", click "YES".

4) Select the "DISPLAY" option at the
top of the new "DIRECTX
DIAGNOSTIC TOOL" window that has
opened.

5) In the left box, you will see the
"DEVICE" info, including "NAME"
and "CHIP TYPE". This is your video
card.

6) In the right box, you will see the
"DRIVERS"info, including
"VERSION" and "DATE".
